Lately I have been looking for a way to further enjoy the music that i listen to. Mainly because I have a five-hour commute every day.
There was a time when I used to carry around an old iPod Video (5th gen) and I liked it because
Even though I enjoyed my iPod very much, it did have its flaws, most notably
It was because of all of that (and buying a pretty nice pair of CMF Buds 2 Pro) that I went back to Apple Music on my phone. Now, around a year later, I find myself missing that feeling of having all my music in a more tangible form, so I decided to buy a (knockoff) Walkman!
Cassettes are pretty expensive, but I remember my father has a pretty big collection of his old music in his parent's house. That works for me because it's also a new way for me to find new cool music!
After trying my (arguably shitty) cassette player, I find that I miss the HiFi of the iPod (or of Lossless Apple Music for that matter). Don't get me wrong: I still very much enjoy the vibes of the cassettes, but I'd really like to have a good-sounding music player. I could go back to my iPod, with all its aforementioned flaws, but I think I have some really nice options that are worth exploring.
Will post an update on my dilemma!
