An Utter Waste of My Time

The reason why I haven't posted anything as of late is that I've been busy with an assignment for my Computer Assisted Drawing class.

The first week we had his class, the professor assigned us a modeling task with a couple sketches we had to turn into 3D models.
Fair enough.
The problem comes when you take a look at the details of the assignment: We had to design TWENTY ONE parts off awfully simple sketches which had NO DIMENSIONS (We were supposed to print them out and measure their dimensions with a ruler. Then double them. Then input them. WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?!?!).

The madness doesn't stop here: The sketches lacked one (out of three) perspectives, so not only were they extremely obnoxious to decipher, but had various interpretations each.

We then had to turn them BACK INTO 2D within PTC CREO (which is the worst CAD I have ever laid my eyes upon, including TinkerCAD), export them as PDFs, WRITE A FUCKING REPORT with all of them inside and turn it in with a ZIP folder of all the files we'd used.

To make matters worse, he took part in no teaching of the software, expecting us to collect knowledge via osmosis I presume.

It is so disrespectful to assign such a shitty worthless task to us, even more so when an exam is scheduled for not over a week from the turn-in date. Not to mention we do have other things to do for other subjects and personal lives (at least I do)

This is both a vent post and a kind of apology for the post draught. More stuff about the audio thingies I'm getting will be posted (hopefully) soon!
